This is how to
increase the partition of the system drive (drive C:) without reformatting the system:
- Download Easeus Partition Software. This application is free and we can easily download it here.
- Install and run the application.
- In order to have available space, we need to reduce the other partition like the drive D by clicking it and click resize/move.
You'll notice a small box of grey at the end of the drive, labelled Unallocated.
- To add that space to the C: drive, move the Unallocated space between the C: drive and D: drive. To do this, simply click and drag the D: drive to the right, and the Unallocated space will be put in its place (between the C: and D:).
- You can now increase the space of the drive C: by resizing the partition.
- Click on Apply in the bottom left of the screen, and answer yes to both prompts.
- Wait until the process will be finished.
